SISHIPCIS Boost
Enhanced, economical energy management

The SISHIPCIS Boost system can enhance the main drive’s propeller performance and even the on-board network’s available electrical power. Under any operating condition, SISHIPCIS Boost drives provide a controlled flow of energy without transition, resulting in considerable energy and cost savings.

The challenge
The operating conditions on ships are constantly in flux. The energy needs of both the propeller drive and the on-board network change depending on factors such as wind, weather and sea conditions, mission schedules and safety requirements. At the same time, ships need to provide energy only to those areas where it is currently needed, in order to keep operating and fuel costs down.

Our solution
SISHIPCIS Boost feeds additional energy into the on-board network, allowing the main engine to operate with great economy. As a result, it is possible to virtually eliminate maintenance of the diesel aggregates typically used for the on-board network’s energy supply. The SISHIPCIS Boost system has a flexible design that allows it to integrate easily into most existing engine rooms, with great cost efficiency.

Good reasons for SISHIPCIS Boost
  • Reduction of operating costs through activation and deactivation of the energy flow as needed
  • Reduction of fuel consumption through economical energy distribution
  • Low maintenance expenditures, virtually no downtime
  • Fast service through worldwide availability of standardized components
  • Possibility to enhance the drive performance as part of ship modification measures at a later point in time
