Our solution

By relying on permanent magnets, SINAVYCIS Permasyn propulsion motors avoid the need for electrical exciters. To make efficient use of space, SINAVYCIS Permasyn motors are short and compact. Siemens has provided propulsion systems for approximately 150 submarines, including more than 130 SINAVYCIS DC PROP systems. The standardized modules that make up SINAVYCIS Permasyn can be freely combined with one another, making it easy to adapt the system to a particular vessel’s needs.
