Calibration Comprehensive calibration services for quality assurance in line with standards |
| | Testing equipment used in production processes must be calibrated at specified intervals. In order to achieve long-term optimization of this procedure in terms of performance and efficiency, we have developed a calibration concept tailored to the respective production processes and measuring instruments. Depending on the technical requirements, we calibrate portable devices in our laboratories and permanently installed equipment on site, sometimes even during operation. | The challenge For production processes in which the smallest degree of nonconformance in individual parameters can lead to an increase in scrap or even outages, the reliability of the measuring technology used plays a vital role.
Standards and guidelines as well as international laws demand verification of implemented quality assurance measures. This means that all testing equipment used for the documentation of product and process quality must be identified and, at specified intervals, calibrated.

In order to achieve long-term optimization of the calibration process in terms of performance and efficiency, we have developed a structured method of analysis.
Taking into account all calibration activities relevant to product and process quality, optimization potential is identified and assessed. Based on the findings, we design a calibration concept tailored to the respective production processes and measuring instruments.
We perform professional electrical, physical and mechanical calibration – on both a factory and a DKD (German Accreditation Body) basis - either in our laboratories or on site. And all that irrespective of the manufacturer and traceable. We can assume responsibility for the calibration of specified measuring equipment or for the whole calibration process.
We also carry out adjustments and any necessary repairs as well as professional calibration cycle management and handling of the calibration certificates – this can also be performed online.
Depending on the technical requirements, we calibrate portable devices in our laboratories and permanently installed equipment on site. More and more plants are running in continuous operation. In order to keep production disruptions to a minimum, integrated measuring equipment must be calibrated during operation. Such inline calibration represents a very demanding challenge and is performed under real conditions and, where possible, without de-installing the measuring instrument.

|
| Good reasons for Calibration
| - Prevention of damage and scrap caused by nonconformance with set measurements
| - Economically optimized and audit-proof calibration processes
| - Inline calibration during operation, where possible
| - Investments and costs of establishing and operating own calibration office avoided
| - Reproducible quality standards thanks to on-site calibration worldwide
