SIWACIS PLAN SEWER

The challenge
The discharge and storage process in discharge systems should be directed to the optimal usage of investments and the minimization of pollution of natural waterbodies. In order to achieve these objectives, valves, pumps and weirs must be controlled according to current measurements of precipitation, water levels and discharge.

Our solution
SIWACIS PLAN SEWER allows the improved utilization of the storage capacity of the sewer network, since the existing buildings are deployed optimally. The application of SIWACIS PLAN SEWER in an exemplar sewer network with the objective to minimize the waste water discharge from storm water overflow tanks achieved a reduction of the discharge of approx. 10-15%. In interaction with the process control system SIWACIS PLAN SEWER presents an efficient online system, which can easily be incorporated in existing automation systems.
