The challenge
Demanding end users are requiring increasingly greater dimensional accuracy, higher strength and better surface quality of steel, and even the development of new types of steel. A basic requirement for success is perfect mastery of the technological process, based on powerful drive engineering, mechatronical solutions and process automation.

Our solution
SIROLLCIS CM addresses the complex technological correlations of a cold rolling mill. This includes tight tolerances at maximal strip yield while at the same time reducing operating and maintenance costs. Our technological solution ensure thickness precision in the range of micrometers, a constant skin pass level across the entire strip and a perfect texture. In continuous mills, special strategies control the rolling of the critical weld seam sections. The right “drive” is provided, for example, by our AC motors, which ensure power at lowest torque ripples.
