SIMAIN®
Service and Maintenance for geothermal power plants
A
geothermal power plant is a complex technical
system, and efficient operation is the first
priority. Important components such as the pipe
system, pumps, heat exchangers and geothermal heat
pumps with their automation system as well as alarm,
control, and security systems require regular
maintenance to ensure that they function reliably.
Operators need an individualized maintenance
strategy aimed at optimizing maintenance costs while
taking into account potential downtime costs.
Siemens Industrial Services has developed the SIMAIN
modular service portfolio to meet these needs. It
includes technical services tailored to support
in-house maintenance personnel and a
process-oriented service package for optimizing
customer maintenance processes.
A solution for the entire life
cycle
You want your geothermal plant to
generate electricity economically, not just today and
tomorrow, but throughout its entire life cycle. We can
help you with individually combinable service solutions.
Typical
elements of a service contract are:
- Inspection
Regular analysis of
operating data and logs, appraisal of the condition
of the plant, and definition of the required
maintenance work are carried out as part of
preventive maintenance.
- Monitoring of plant condition
Additional plant-specific analysis processes are
implemented if necessary (for example, vibration
analyses and recording of temperatures) in order to
avoid plant downtime through preventive maintenance.
- Maintenance planning and monitoring
SIEMENS plans, coordinates, and monitors
preventive and predictive maintenance activities and
is your point of contact for any questions.
- Inspection programs
An individualized
inspection program is drawn up for each plant with
the aim of achieving optimum availability, adequate
flexibility, and reduced costs.
- Spare parts supply
SIEMENS schedules
and delivers the necessary spare parts and parts
subject to wear specifically for each planned
maintenance activity.
- Fault recovery
Speed counts. In the
unlikely event of a fault, our specialists will be
on site within the time agreed. Call-out at
attractive special rates is included in the service
contract. If technically possible, imminent faults
can be detected and analyzed at an early stage by
remote monitoring over a secure connection
(telephone or the Internet). Remote access saves
valuable time for diagnosis, maintenance, and
inspection and minimizes local deployment of
experts.
- Fixed-price options
Naturally, our
services are also available under fixed-price terms.
