SIPREC I (former PIC410 F) Improving the performance of ESP |
|
| We offer you a logical modernization concept for electrostatic precipitators (ESP). Our high-voltage generators based on IGBT power semiconductors ensure increased collection capability and are more environment-friendly. Our comprehensive service package guarantees you a fast, successful solution from the word go, with no interface problems and minimal downtimes during conversion. |
. | The challenge Requirements for the dust and ash collection capabilities of electrostatic precipitators are increasing continuously for a number of reasons, such as stricter environmental regulations, new process conditions and the use of different fuels. As a result, an ever-increasing proportion of electrostatic precipitators now in operation need modernizing or expanding. This calls for intelligent solutions, particularly if mechanical conversion is not an option because of economic considerations or design constraints. |
|
The switching concept of SIPREC I high-voltage generators equipped with IGBT power semiconductors (instead of conventional thyristor controllers) increases the collection capability of electrostatic precipitators. This not only saves cost-intensive mechanical expansions but also allows continued use of existing HV rectifiers.
Siemens provides a single source for all the necessary services – including engineering of customized solutions; delivery of the required high-voltage, low-voltage and automation components; the networking of precipitator controls with connection to existing automation systems and control systems; and fast assembly and restarting of the electrostatic precipitators by experienced specialists.
And after completion of the “hot phase,†we ensure that your plant continues to run efficiently and trouble-free by providing theoretical and practical training for your operating personnel and long-term services (locally and via hotline). Finally, our services also include complete documentation of the modernization measure. |
