The new hot strip mill consists of advanced components with innovative features.
It comprises one reheating furnace, a 4-high reversing roughing mill, ENCOPANELS® heat retention system, a 6-stand 4-high finishing mill with SmartCrown® shifting and bending systems, a laminar cooling system including QuickSwitch cooling headers and two Siemens VAI-PowerCoilers with 4 wrapper rolls for reliably coiling of high strength steel grades.

Furthermore, Siemens VAI provides the entire electrics and automation of the mill.
