Compact, modular high voltage motors from 500 kW to 11.7 MW with modular cooling concept for applications in a wide range of sectors and applications. They are available with cast iron enclosures up to shaft height 560 mm and with steel enclosure for shaft height 630 and 710 mm across applications in a wide range of sectors. Characteristic features are high power ratings with low envelope dimensions and weight, low energy costs, high reliability, long service life and quiet operation.

In the energy sector SIMOTICS HV Series H-compact PLUS motors are focusing on pump and fan applications up to 11.7 MW in the power plant, such as coolant pumps, boiler fed pumps, district heating pumps, fresh air blowers, and ID (induced draft) fans.

For shipbuilding applications such as on board main pumps, thruster or propulsion drives, SIMOTICS HV Series H-compact PLUS motors are available with lightweight, space-saving designs, great vibration quality and low noise level. The motor is also available with special coating systems to protect against aggressive, salty marine environments and fully complies with the specifications of the leading marine classification societies.

 Main Propulsion-Thrusters

In the metals industries SIMOTICS HV Series H-compact PLUS motors are mainly used for rolling mill applications with shock proofed, welded steel housing in shaft height 630 and 710 mm – with high overload capability, forced ventilation and torque rates up to 80 kNm. The motor can also be used with various high power metals fan applications.
