Information Security @ Airports
The digital world is a mirror of the real world: Uninterrupted
processes and communication, as well as reliable and secure access to
information and applications are essential for any Airport. Security has
become a key issue for Airport CIOs and IT Managers.
They do, however, involve inherent risks and costs that need to be
identified and eliminated. Threats such as espionage and sabotage of
sensitive data and workflows, break-in and fraud also occur in corporate
networks and the internet. Short innovation cycles and complex risks
require individual analysis, competent consulting and holistic IT
security concepts. If the availability, confidentiality, authenticity
and integrity of systems and files are guaranteed at any time, then the
IT security goal has been reached.
