Public information displays
At Siemens, we do not manufacture public information displays ourselves, but
in combination with our flight / baggage information display system
installations, we supply classic CRT, plasma or LCD monitors, LED or LCD boards
and even projection beamers and screens or split flap/flip dot boards of the
highest quality standards from renowned display manufacturing partners at
competitive costs.
The displays are delivered, installed, commissioned and integrated seamlessly
into the software / hardware concept of our FIDS installations. The products
offer state-of-the-art functionalities, including features such as display of
graphics, various languages and character sets, attention markers such as
blinking, color-coded or sound-enhanced highlights, and even multimedia content
(e.g. mpeg video sequences) matching the style of display layout and content.
All systems are installed by Siemens’ own staff or approved contractors. We
guarantee the performance of the displays according to our own high standards
and offer lifetime maintenance of display equipment.
