Description
To allow
fast
throughput
of 20 ft
pallets from
and to
landside to
and from
airside,
Siemens
developed a
layout with
20ft ETV’s,
with a 3
level ULD
storage area
and
truck-dock
interface at
the lateral
side of the
building,
with airside
at the
building
front,
shortening
in this way
the
transport
ways and
optimizing
the 20ft ULD
handling by
separating
it totally
from the
smaller
sized ULD’s.
