- Straight Conveyor |
Product Description
Straight conveyors are the connecting sections in a belt
conveyor system. They consist of only a small number of basic
elements which can then be used to build the different variants
that are required in a baggage handling system (e.g. different
lengths, cascades, drives).
The design allows a minimum number of individual parts and easy
maintenance. Conveyors up to a length of 20 m (in special cases
up to 30 m) require only one drive.

- Metering Conveyor |
Product Description
Metering conveyors are straight conveyors with high pulse
frequency and short acceleration and braking paths. They always
feature a longitudinally-grooved 2-layer carrier belt with high
friction in order to minimize the slip between pieces of baggage
and the belt during pulsing. The drive station at the head end
of the conveyor drives the belt on the fabric side.

- Pier Belt |
Product Description
Pier belts are used to manually load and unload baggage. They
are used, for example, for transfers or as laterals downstream
of a tilt-tray sorter. Loading and unloading is done from one
side or both sides.
Pier belts are loaded and unloaded manually, which is why they
run at low speed (a typical speed is 0.5 m/s).

| Belt Solutions - Power Turn TS 1600 |
Product Description
The flat belt power turn is a driven belt that is used to
transport baggage through a curve. In the process, the
transported baggage maintains its position and distance to the
following piece of baggage. The curves can be used for baggage
handling systems with a maximum loading capacity between of 120
kg or 250 kg.
The 1600 series combines top-class performance and reliability
with an integrated design concept. It minimizes the effective
space requirements of the overall system and simplifies all
manual operations including belt replacement. |
| Belt Solutions - Spiral Turn |
Product Description
The spiral version of the power turn is a driven belt that is
used to transport baggage through a curve with entry and exit at
different levels. In the process, the transported baggage
maintains its position and distance to the following piece of
baggage.
This Type of turn can be used for baggage handling systems with
a maximum loading capacity of 100 kg at speeds up to 4 m/s (at
the outside radius) and inclinations up to 18° (at the inner
edge of the belt). |
| Belt Solutions - 18 Degree Vertical Sorter |
Product Description
Vertical sorters sort a baggage flow on to two belt conveyor
lines that are stacked vertically. Depending on the swiveling
direction, the input conveyor forms a continuous conveyor
section with one of the output conveyors. The input conveyor is
arranged at the same level as the upper output conveyor.
Each belt conveyor has its own drive. The swiveling operation is
initiated by a separate crank drive. The same device can also be
used as a merge in the opposite direction of belt travel. |

- High Speed Diverter |
Product Description
The High Speed Diverter sorts a baggage flow horizontally from a
straight conveyor to another conveyor. The device can also be
used in order to reroute baggage in case of failure.
The diverter surface is divided into two vertical flaps that are
swiveled by 45° into the conveyor path from the side. The swivel
operation is initiated by a single drive with a combined
coupling and brake unit. This switches the diverter flaps with
high accuracy and short transition time. |
| Belt Solutions - Merge Divert |
Product Description
A belt merge merges two baggage flows at an angle of 30° or 45°
on to one common belt conveyor. As a variant, the device is also
available as a divert.
Diverters divert redundant conveyor lines or sort between two
belt conveyors lines at the same height. |

- Flat Carousel |
Product Description
This type of carousel is used as a reclaim carousel in the
arrival area and for manual sorting in the baggage hall. In the
passenger area, the stainless steel version is commonly used,
while the framework is painted in the baggage handling area.
Possible configurations: ranging from simple loops to
multi-level, complex shapes incorporating both internal and
external curves.

- Inclined Carousel |
Product Description
This type of carousel is used as a reclaim carousel in the
arrival area and for manual sorting in the baggage hall. In the
passenger area, the stainless steel version is commonly used,
while the framework is painted in the baggage handling area.
Carousels are driven by single (or multiple) low noise friction
drives depending on overall length and load requirements.
