With the new Engineering Framework TIA Portal WinCC V11 the Control and Monitoring of drug manufacturing becomes easier: One Engineering Software from Basic Panel up to SCADA level by means of re-usage objects and standard libraries.

Siemens presents a solution for Drug Manufacturing Automation, run with TIA Portal WinCC V11 combined with the WinCC Premium Add-on Process Management.

The Monitoring and Control of production in filling line machines shown is based on the OMAC standard model and executed in a batch enabled SCADA System.

The Batch system allows the definition and planning of recipes, batch dispatching, electronic signatures, audit trails, manual batch record data entries, and automatically printed batch reports.
