Overview

The Access Points of the SCALANCE W-780 product line are optimized for the configuration of Industrial Wireless LAN (IWLAN) wireless networks for 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz with data transmission rates up to 54 Mbit/s; they can be used in all applications that require a high degree of operational reliability especially under extremely harsh environmental conditions

    - SCALANCE W-788 for cabinet-free assembly
    - SCALANCE W-786 for demanding climatic requirements
  • Reliable thanks to rugged, impact-resistant housing, protected from water and dust (IP65), resistant to shock, vibration and electromagnetic fields
  • Wireless communication suitable for use in applications with high requirements for real-time capability and reliability, such as PROFINET, PROFIsafe or Video
  • Operation in the expanded temperature range from -40 °C to +70 °C
  • Resistant to condensation (depending on the product line)
