RFID Baggage System (RBS) is an innovative system developed by Siemens
for the precise and reliable reading of bagtag data with UHF RFID
technology. The mechanical layout of this future-oriented complete
system is carefully designed to prevent any interference between
neighboring systems. The integrated software is based on a future-proof
system architecture. Fast data processing and intelligent algorithms
enable seamless tracking functionality and the transmission of filtered
data to the higher-level baggage handling system.
This innovative Siemens system follows the RP1740c recommendation of
IATA (International Air Transport Association). The complete system is
delivered fully configured and offers a wealth of advantages.
